No we hear in Upstate New York have made many trips to Canada to play T6 so Texas players aren’t the first Americans to play T6. It’s a 3 1/2 hour drive from Syracuse to Toronto and It’s 1 hour drive from Buffalo.
I dunno why people are bitching about character animations and models. They are period the best in the series and the best in fighting game period. Bitching about wax models? WTH the matter with you guys?
March 3, 2008 at 2:37 pm |
If it’s like that…
The ppl that played it in Florida were actually the first to play T6. ^_^
March 3, 2008 at 2:38 pm |
“2 tacos”
Well when you put it like that, it doesn’t seem like a lot… lol
But when you consider that with Tekken 5 DR it was only $20 to buy the game… yah 1 $ a match is fucking crazy.
March 3, 2008 at 8:19 pm |
Phillipine T6 card is worth 175 pesos…thats about 4 dollars..and 15 pesos per game..about 30 cents..so whose the lucky bastards now eh..hehe
March 3, 2008 at 11:53 pm |
I aint bitchin about wax models..i Just think that its animation is not as smooth as DR..
March 4, 2008 at 5:22 am |
Animation not as smooth as DR? Shhyeaah. right. Get your eyes checked. T6 graphics own.
March 4, 2008 at 4:25 pm |
Hahaha..yeah maybe I should…but i will bet that when,if ever there will be a 6.1 thats where we will see the real power of the PS3 console..just like when the graphics from 4 to 5 looked very far apart..But I really like the steam left by the jets in the colony stage..and all the stages…

For those players in the Philippines, the Timezone arcades aren’t the only ones with Tekken 6. Most, if not all, Quantum arcades has also received their copies of the game. And while it costs Php 20 per game in Timezone, playing it in Quantum only requires you to pay Php 15. Oh, and not to insult those who play in Timezone or anything, but based on my observation, Tekken players who play in Quantum (particularly those who play in Quantum-SM Fairview) are a whole lot better than those you see playing in Timezone. So if you want a real challenge, I suggest you pit your skills against the Quantum guys.
(side note: Not everyone who plays Tekken in the Philippines is a Filipino. Lots of guys I see playing in the arcades are from other countries who are probably living in the country now. Just two days ago, I saw an American go against a Korean. It’s pretty amazing that the game unites a lot of people, even though they’re not from one place.)
