Tekken 6 ps3 vs xbox 360.Appearently the ps3 won.
They look the same too me!

Yeah it’s really virtually no difference and not something you really notice without over analysing everything. PS3 has slightly better visuals but in reality both versions have unslightly jaggies (I have played both) and namco should have really worked to get it running at a decent rez, because with motion blur on the rez it’s running at is pretty laughable in this day and age. As I was playing I actually begun to long for a PC release so I could turn AA up.
So load times are a little faster on xbox360 (man, uninstalled PS3 is horribly slow, so make sure you install it) and it seems
the FPS is a little unstable on the PS3 but not enough to cause concern.
In the end very version is good, apart from the terrible, terrible online on both versions and namco better be working on a fix if they want to save face.
This should have been fighting game of the year and single handedly start a new fighting game resurgence but with all it’s flaws they threw that away

the online is not good enough, I think the biggest problem is the nature of the Internet itself. even 50ms ping time bewteen players would have big impact to the performance in terms of punishing moves such as hop-kick.
Namco might be able to do better with a tweak on the net-code to improve the performance, but it would not be as good as offline, as least not in the forseeable future.
