Makman. can you find out if they have any plans for the PS Vita. I hate the controls for the 3ds.. its not a fighting game friendly system.
The 3DS isn’t that bad for fighting games. I can tell you from playing BlazBlue Continuum Shift II on it. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I know the PS Vita feels okay, but I need to try a fighting game on it.
tekken vs street fighter is coming for vita so that should be interesting as you all know….. but i am sure namco would come up with something since the graphic for vita is even better that psp , and tekken 5 dr worked very well on psp

What resolution is the 3ds supporting?
To answer your question:
The widescreen 3D LCD is 3.53 inches corner to corner and runs in 800×240 resolution (“400 pixels are allocated for each eye to enable 3D viewing”).
The touch screen is 3.02 inches and 320×240 resolution.

may be it just light up when you take damage as well? that’s the only forgivable scenario i can think about.
Rage mode also colors the lifebar in red, so yes, is it just a sign of taking damage
