Early yesterday, Oct. 21st, fires started to spread throughout San Diego county and the situation has escalated to a state of emergency throughout Southern California. Over 300,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and many of the 7 + fires are still less than 5% contained. SD TEKKEN will be postponing updates indefinitely until the smoke clears. Unfortunately according to fire officials “It’s going to get worse.” Our prayers and wishes go out to all who are affected by this tragedy and we hope everyone is safe. Please, if you have to evacuate your home, go as soon as you can. Do not risk your life by staying behind. Everyone be safe and keep glued to the news, radio and television for the latest updates. The fires are spreading fast.

Here in Italy every summer we suffer for wildfires spreading in the south. I can only imagine what it means to loose your home to fire, so my best wishes (I would say prayers, but I don’t pray) go to all those people that are suffering for this calamity that has befallen them.
