Go Tekken! What’s up with SF4?
Console release is whats up. Didn’t think it would go that low though.
well of course tekken is the best fighting game of all time
i would agree with stridajin, also SBO is coming so others are brushing up on the other games…
idk just a thought!
the game speaks for it self, tekken is siply the best, everyoe can talk all that crap about this game or that game or give an excuse like, SFIV is down because it came out n consoles BLAH BLAH BLAAAHHH, but here is your evidence.
the only thing i feel bad for on that list is Virtua Fighter 5R…i wish that game was on the number 2 spot , why is it so low on the list, didnt they add 2 new characters since VF 5 ??
VF 5 IS GARBAGE IT’S TEKKEN WANNA BE GAME BUT IT WILL NEVER BE TEKKEN, IT TRIED TO RIP OFF TEKKEN, NO ONE GIVES DAMN ABOUT STUPID VF, LETS FACE THE BEST FIGHTING GAME AND THE MOST POPULAR FIGHTING GAME IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW IS TEKKEN, EVERYONE KNOWS THAT
@ tekken lover
Tekken best ever? VF ripped off Tekken? Let’s be realistic here:
1. VF introduced the sidestep before Tekken
2. VF introduced the uneven floor/backgrounds before Tekken
3. VF introduced customizable characters before Tekken
4. VF introduced player ranking before Tekken
5. VF introduced 3D fighter online capability before Tekken.
Virtua Figther is Apple and Tekken is the Bill Gates/Microsoft of Fighters. VF is usually innovating, but Tekken has ripped the idea and makes their fighter more user friendly.
Tekken 5/ Tekken 6 are awesome fighting games and the 5 series is the last fighter I’ve thoroughly enjoyed but no fighter has been perfect.
Yes… VF and Tekken borrow/share on a regular basis.
VF and Tekken development team members actually have lunch together pretty often. So it’s no surprise to see so many shared ideas/similarities.
But of course!
uhhh id hate to tell both of you as much as i love tekken , you have no idea how much TEKKEN stole From VF in recent years, The ranking system, the customization system , the treasure system. VF in my eyes is a pioneer of fighting games, its just that their roster is not as edgy as Tekken, as far as depth i say VF has more depth than tekken, yes I SAID IT deeper than tekken, i love tekken but i have much respect for VF, GOH HINOGAMI FOR THE WIN.
all AM needs to do is spruce up thier roster and they did a bit of that with R5 adding some cool new characters, so before you go talking shit about something you know nothing about i suggest you actually go and lay vf 4 or vf 5 then come back and talk shit.
hell i wish tekken had a Kumete mode, or a combo analyzer…ya im guessing you dont knwo what the fuck im talking about…so i sugges you go and play it first.
NANDO speak the TRUTH…..hes right, i love tekken to death, but you knwo what man , GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDITS DUE. if it wasnt for VF tekken wouldnt be where its at right now. RECOGNIIIIIZE BITCH.
oh and ill go ahead and add, VF came out wiht GOH HONOGAMI fist then TEKKEN ripped them off and came out with DRAGUNOV, but i play the muther fucker so i shouldnt talk too much smack LOL.
WHAT EVER AS YOU CAN SEE IN JAPAN NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT VF ANYMORE (AS POLL SHOWS). SOON VF WILL BE A FORGOTTEN GAME AND DAY BY DAY TEKKEN IS BECOMING MORE POPULAR, NOT TO MENTION THAT VF STOLE JUGGLE SYSTEM FROM TEKKEN, SO YOU GUYS CAN CRY ME RIVER
huh ?!?!?
man im not gona even bother, this is too easy.
Lol. Noooo…VF’s juggles are harder to accomplish. Everyone in Tekken seems to have the bounce and weight of a beach ball when they are in the air. VF typically gives you one shot from the initial launcher to get a good combo in and that’s pretty much it. Majority of the game’s mechanics is standing fighting with more emphasis on parrying/counter-parry/throw-breaks.
Tekken lover, you are the embodiement of the word Ironic; In the sense that you are a troll…but a positive one for the site you troll for. It’s really weird.
*tries not to feed* But it’s so ignorant and cute.
we have it easy on tekken to break a throw…try playing VF and see if you can get out of a throw lol.
if you dont know the direction on the D-pad and the button input, your not gonna go loose.
NANDO the guy clerly doesnt knwo wha tthe hel hes talking about. so just let him talk that trash.
On the subject of VF vs Tekken. both are great fighting games.. I love both games Tekken being no 1 and vf no. 2. Vf has a much more controlled and limited system than tekken.. Tekken on the other hands is more spontaneous. You can make things happen in tekken with little rules.. VF is very strict in its system to where you have to play by a lot of rules to be good.
Its also not that hard to break throws in vf if you know how to option select or ete *evade throw escape making some options easy to beat. Also I find that a lot of characters in vf are easier to play than tekken.. Put Mishimas played on the quadans level and the best Akira player at the moment. I think Mishimas are a lot harder to control than Akira cause I play Akira.
dude AKIRA is the poster boy of course hes friendly, try GOH then you’ll see.
I love Tekken and don’t like VF.
But if you are old enough or have enough knowledge, you will know that VF is the FIRST true 3D fighter, and how many Yu Suzuki has done to innovate in 3D games and 3D fighters for many years until he had lost his power in Sega.
It is true that Tekken and VF have been developing in different directions, but they are from the same root, and this root was the innovative idea of Yu Suzuki, the producer of VF.
If Yu Suzuki and VF don’t exsit, we won’t have our Tekken now.
someone mentioned Kumite mode… well, I won’t miss this mode. But I do wish that the Tekken will “borrow” the “arcade centers” and “tournments” modes from the PS2 VF4 evo.
[…] seu antecessor e agrega seu próprio valor. Não é à toa que BlazBlue encontra-se como constante segundo lugar no gosto dos frequentadores de Arcades japoneses, perdendo apenas para Tekken […]
SF4 fall cuz its boring. GO GO TEKKEN AND VIRTUA FIGHTER.
