EWGF has always been one the most well-known Tekken moves. It’s hard for beginners and there aren’t many people having a 100% accuracy with it, however, if you play any member of the Mishima family you need to know how to do EWGFs consistently. Damn, he broke this down to a science. This is by far the most useful Tekken video I have ever seen. I learned the PEWGF in T5DR and it is basically the only one I use. DAMNIT, now VenoM362 gotta learn DEWGF,DDEWGF,WEWGF and SDEWGF. I use all the Mishimas except Heihachi. I gotta put in some work.

Is it just me, but pulling off a EWGF has become so much easier since T6 came out? If only that tutorial came out when T5 was popular.

The input requirements are pretty much exactly the same since T3.
In T3 Jin could take 30F of input duration to do EWGF. In T6, Devil Jin can take 30F of input duration to do EWGF. All that’s changed is now Jin has devil in front of his name. Kazuya in Tekken 6 is the same.
People are also pointing out that it probably isn’t correct to state that there is a input leniency between df and 2 to get EWGF out.
Anybody who disagrees is welcome to provide proof. I suspect The Main Man may edit his video.

main 1st of all bro u r da man this is sum hectic stuff nw i have dedicated most of m tekken time to the dewgf. b4 ur vid i culd do 4 ewgf and i ddnt even knw how i did it was alwys by luck but after ur vi i can do 4 ewgf more times than b4 but still im nt perfect at it, wat i want to know from u is when d o press ff wen doin the dewgf do u press i b4 the punch connects or very fast after the punch connects? coz i press ff very fast after da punch connects but its always too slow 4 the 5th ewgf, i enjoy ur vids alot wicked juggles man. u r the man.
