Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been announced! It will be officially shown at the upcoming Amusement Show from September 18 – 20 in Tokyo, Japan! It will be an upgraded version of the existing Tekken 6 game and is slated for an arcade release in December! Apparently, arcade operators in Japan have gotten the heads up about this new version of Tekken 6, so if you haven’t heard about it yet, you will soon! Thanks for the heads up Reno!

I’m sure if the old version off T6 is released on ps3 the new version will be quickly available on PSN. Besides, the hardware for the arcade system of T6 is based off ps3, so a port could be quickly made. I think this is the reason ps3 T6 has been delayed or not announced!

This is complete utter BULLSHIT!! I understand that the US is not as huge of fans as japan but still we have a big enough fan base here to be taken seriously. Why are they dicking us over like this? I mean the arcade scene here is dead and some places lucked out by being able to port the jap version to there locations but still 95% of the damn US has yet to play tekken 6. I have patients, but this is fucking just to much… Its just sad that other places are pretty much bored wit the game that there getting a newer version and we have yet to even see the fucking game in action aside from Youtube. Don’t get me wrong i’m not hateing on the possibility of new characters and stages….. Well, at least SOME americans have got to play the original. Ireland has thee worst arcade scene EVER! I think the newest game at my nearest arcade is mario kart GP, and it’s not the newest version of that game either.
The last arcade machine of tekken i saw was tekken 3 (i saw TTT on a boat i was on, but that don’t count cos i don’t live on that boat) Ireland’s arcades are made of Time Crisis and House of the Dead. I don’t wanna play them, biggest waste of £1 ever!
But with all that said, i’m looking forward to the game, as long it’s the console version and it means it’s being released really soon. :) I just want T6 before 2009…
is it too much to ask for :(

it’s been a while since i’ve been on this site as my laptop is totally screwed, but after reading this, does this mean that us UK gamers are gettin fucked over again by having 2 wait the longest time for this 2 be released?? Just like the irish guy a few posts above, in scotland where i am, my local arcade seems 2 be more interested in time crisis and house of the dead, and yeah, the same damn mario kart game!! The last tekken arcade game i seen was tekken4 and even then it was out the same time as the ps2 game was.. Why update the game that isn’t even released on console!? Namco should’ve got the game out on physical console release and surprised everyone with putting this update on playstation network as a free update for all the loyal fans. From what i’ve heard tekken 6 needs some update since some of the characters are refered as broken(especially bob)…to anyone who hates namco, pls guys its all down to business most of the time, namco also has to please the arcade owners(and also the fans of course but they have to find a balance between those 2, if they just keep on pleasing just fans their income could’ve reduced by 30+%), it was the arcade tat made namco we all know today, and arcades a really big business over in asia. please if u wanna hate hate ur local’s arcades(mines in ireland n that place is a disgrace, only house of the dead n a few shooters*sigh*), i’m really glad namco is actually putting alot of effort into their first tekken game for the next gen n thanks a million to namco’s team for making such a wonderful game, take all the time u need to fix everything n dont rush it, i want a solid experience, thank you again :)

I appreciate the effort Namco is puttin into the ps3’s first Tekken, but seriously, give us an idea of when it’s coming out. I don’t care which version is released now, just tell us.An estimate will do!
And their arcade profit is all majorily from asia anyway. If it was out on ps3 they would’ve had a shit load more money in their pockets by now thanks to america and europe, and of course the asians. The tekken arcade seen in Asia will never die out, so they’re not really makin more money, they’re delaying their biggest income. And anyway, if this arcade system is based off a ps3, making a perfect port should be easy.
I think they’re still busy doing all that CGI endings and stuff related to story, since no arcades seem to have story mode in them. If they did, i think everyone woulda let someone play it and get to the end. And obviously youtube would boast videos of endings.

damn that’s frustrating can’t they just release the damned game already? i want it so badly and if I have to wait another six months i gonna get a heartattack(lol just kiddingXD), but it is kinda irritating if the arcade version is released november the year prior then the port should come out approximately a year later, but because the ps3 hasn’t had the best of sales Namco is probably(hopefully!!) gonna release around christmas to generate more sales. That would be my prediction as for now. About this T6BR it sounds like T5DR just with a B instead of a D and if it’s gonna be better than the version already out then that one is supposed to be released on ps3 and not the old version like a lot of you people say. It’s almost like Virtua fighter 5(i don’t own the game nor am I interested in the series) where version B was released on ps3 with no online play while the x360 had version C with online play(although i don’t think namco is gonna release T6 on the 360 cause if they do that my ps3 would be almost worthless).

i recently saw some videos about tekken 6: bloodline rebellion. the 2 new characters are unique. Alisa can fly, i think she’s a cyborg. Lars uses a kazama-style of fighting. it’s definitely a ton of action. it’s already being played in japan. their arcades have the game. some lucky players experienced the new scent of action. overall, try the game when it’s already available in your country..^_^
