Where: MIRAMAR SPEED CIRCUIT – 8123 Miralani Dr., San Diego, CA 92126-4342
Sign ups: 10am-11:30am
Tournaments are scheduled to begin between 12 and 1pm
Extra Details:
Both tournaments will be double elimination 2v2
Your partner for SF4 and T6 Do not have to be the same
You cannot have 2 of the same characters on one team
You must stick to one character for the whole tournament
1 tournament fee charged per person
$5 tournament Fee
$10 per game/person
($20 per team) (100% of this goes to pot)

Variable Tournament Payout Structure
A standard tournament payout structure usually consists of 100% of the
prize pool divided into 70%, 20%, 10%, in acsending order from first
to third place. However, our variable payout structure is based on the
amount of players participating in the event.
Our variable payout structure compensates the top ~10% of the players.
This is based on a 8 person variable.
1-35 players = 3 payouts
36-48 = 4 payouts (50%, 25%, 15%, 10%)
49-56 = 5 payouts (50%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%)
57-64 = 6 payouts (50%, 20%, 10%, 8%, 7%, 5%)
65-72 = 7 payouts (45%, 20%, 15%, 8%, 5%, 4%, 3%)
73-88 = 8 payouts (45%, 20%, 10%, 8%, 7%, 5%, 3%, 2%)
89-96 = 9 payouts (40%, 20%, 10%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 4%, 3%, 2%)
97&^ = 10 payouts (40%, 20%, 10%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 4%, 3%, 1%, 1%)

You SFIV guys are brain dead I swear. Or in denial. By all accounts of people who are used to playing Tekken series. The bottom tier and the top tier are not far from each other. I play SFIV the game is decently balanced but there is better chance of winning a tourney with Raven which is rated as one of the worst in tekken than with Vega.Bob is ranked as maybe the 7~10 best player in the game. Aeris played Dragonuv. Ranked Mid tier. OF COURSE there are gonna be ppl who play the top characters. But guess what? Law and Lili lost. Tekken is chess. You have Frames. Side step game wall. game Throw mixups Reversals. REVERSAL REVERSALS., tech traps, Reset juggles. You have to know a shit load of moves and setups from every of the 40 CHARACTERS in the game. Spacing is even more important in tekken 6. Because you can wiff punish which hurts alot more than in SFIV. SFIV is fun but the reason why it attracts more people because its easier to pick up. Every character has maybe 6 moves that they spam. I’ve been playing since SF !! came out when I was a kid. I am 30 now. I am telling you…… SF relies on precision and speed. Tekken is mostly strategy. SF is the boxing equivalent of a slugger. And tekken 6 is the equivalent of a boxer.
