Coming out next week August 1st in Japan, gamer’s all over the world will finally get to enjoy ONLINE Tekken for the first time ever! Click below for more details about the upcoming release!
The confirmed features include:
- No cross-region online VS play (the Japanese version of DR Online only allows for VS battles in Japan)
- Up to 8 people in a VS room, 2 people play, 6 people watch
- Person setting up the room can customize room settings (probably conditions for who can enter a particular room, or changing the number of rounds, 120% life, etc)
- Get points through VS play, points are reflected in a ranking (I think this means your rank, like 1st dan or Fujin)
- Antenna bar icons next to the rooms listed in the lobby tell you how bad the lag is

MAYBE, JUST MAYBE,,, If you down loaded the Japan T5DR that you can update and MAYBE play VS other’s in AMERICA, I’m just guessing, but I will download it on Wednesday and let you all know.. Bssides, the training mode will STILL be a plus for now,,,,,, playing TEKKEN since 1994 and It just keeps my attention like no other video game…
