Do these DVDs work on PS3?
The DVDs are most likely region 2. You will be able to watch them on your CPU if you download VLC, without any problem.
If your DVD player is a region free DVD player, you’ll have no problems watching the DVDs as well.

How much? Is it really out?
Got ’em. ^_^ Both the Tekken 6 and VF5R boxes have 2 discs. Lots of matches, very clear and cool- if you haven’t seen Tekken 6 (well, and VF5R) in the arcades, this should give a good idea of how great the game looks. I like these dvds a lot better than the previous year’s VF5 dvd. Nice variety of characters (No Sarah and just one Pai in the VF5R discs make me sad though). Still have to watch the dvds in full later. Anyway, great stuff if you can get ’em! Play-Asia is the way to go.
