Mad Catz® Announces Champion Gamer ‘Daigo “The Beast” Umehara’ Joins Team Mad Catz

An avid player from the age of 11, Daigo is one of the gaming worlds’ most esteemed players, participating in tournaments for over 15 years and winning prestigious titles across no less than 10 different fighting games.

A celebrity amongst gaming enthusiasts, Daigo regularly participates in various exhibition bouts, writes his own regular gaming column and continues to participate in tournaments worldwide, including the famous Evolution series of tournaments which he has won several times. In addition, Daigo is the reigning Street Fighter® IV champion.

    MADCATZ, Shit , How did a Third rate Company like MADCATZ get him to join.

    The only good thing to come out of MADCATS is that fucking arcade stick for SFIV , all their other peripherals suck DICK !

    I guess it was a nice sign on Bonus.

      Well, Markman worked on that stick for MadCatz and he knows alot about sticks! That’s why that was such a success for that company!
      Everyone is saying what you say on all the forums.. that MadCatz usually don’t have good products, but that StreetFighter IV TE stick was very very good, if not hte best stick out there!

      I just hope they start making good products if they listen to the experience of great players like Daigo and what the true gamers want and need in a third party product.

      I really think the success of the TE stick showed that we are willing to pay the price if just the product is good!
