VenoM362 and Shinobi Cyclone posted the Mortal Kombat “might be” trailer two days ago.
On to the game footage, the movements still look real stiff and robotic. Thats the main thing that turned me off from the series in the first place. Maybe going back to 2D will help,then again maybe not. the grapics still look dated also. On the plus side they have a tag mode it seems, you hear VenoM362 Namco? My boy Kung Lao’s fatality looks nice, unless that was just CG hype.

idk i really liked mortal combat awhile back but ever sence i got into tekken all other fighting games didnt interest me as much idk tekken just seems like the best fighting game xD but mk characters are still dope lol.

Well, let’s see. TEKKEN 6 didn’t do so well in sales. My personal take, I don’t think we should expect anything on the console front for TEKKEN 6 at this point. There’s just no point at this time and NBGI wouldn’t see an uplift in sales from it. Not worth their time/money. Let’s just hope more people support the next one.
Should’ve stayed to PS3 only, 360’s users downloaded the shit. Hope Namco learned their lession, to bad it fucked us over.

An update may not generate more sales but it would please the hardcore fans and rest of the people who do have it,thus keeping them on board for the next game. If Namco don’t care to fix the problems in Tekken 6 why should people care about or support the next one?

LOL.. Well I read Markmans last reply to this and so im wondering why he believes T6 did bad in sales. Yet I agree with Venoms 360 claim; Ive known that since launch.. I also feel like the game wasn’t advertised enough in the beginning. If I hadn’t really put forth an effort to keep up I wouldve only find out about it by seeing my friend play his illegally acquired copy on his 360 a few days before release.
I think T7 needs more hype and needs to be exclusive.. If T7 releases on 360 and the numbers for illegal downloads of T7 are the same as they were for T6 then that’s Namcos fault.

if its not exclusive then i dont know whats going to happen in the future… they’re either not listening to us.. or its the money (from good citizens who dont download illegally and the hardcore players/fans)

Not really.. I don’t automatically assume EVERY 360 title will be available for download because I have no justification that EVERY 360 game file has been or will be available to the public online.. Namco might not be fully aware of this either so maybe they had no reason to think they’re game would be one of this category. Whether Namco knew for sure their game would be downloaded or not its still their fault because they’re still the ones responsible for making it multiplatfrom.. What surprises me more is not that games file was available for download but that it was available almost a week before the game released anywhere.. Namco claims they made the game multiplatform because a certian group insisted they should and maybe that’s partially true but the way I saw it when they announced that was just they saw a potential chance to make more money in a time that the Playstation 3 wasn’t doin too well.. If I were a game developer I’d simply not release games on the PirateBox 360..and Namco shouldve learned there lesson and do just that.

I didnt buy a next gen console to play Last Gens outdated Graphics, i Bought a PS3 so i can play games that keep Pushing forward and looking Better and Better.

I think this game will be good unlike mk vs dc it u never know like I said it is early in production of tekken 7 they might still make it tekken tag2 but as far as mk goes they surly borrow they idea 2 vs 2 from tekken and nothing is wrong with that as long as it woks and they realize that inorder to make a good game u don’t have to have 3D gameplay so they made 2D gameplay with 3D looks just like SF4 and again nothing is wrong with that but just several things make the characters balance like tekken because mk vs dc was the most unbalance game I have ever played in my life and flash was the most broken character second make the move easy to excecute thrid no more interuption during juggle as it was the case in mk vs dc cuz u could use Rage to stop it which was really stupid and for god sake come up with some good way to counter attack cheap player who only push on button or same command over and over again And make all characters in the game playable not like when u can’t choose boss as ur main character and it is ok if the boss is tiny bit stronger cuz he is the boss, if u do all that I promise u got urself a good game and will be enjoyable game just like mk1 and mk2 were

Maybe it didn’t get much support because the hype was gone. Tekken 5 did great because it got released on to consoles faster, I don’t like waiting and I’m sure it is the same for everyone one else. I don’t have aracdes near me so WTF did they expect. I played it and it was an alright game, I expected A LOT MORE than what was given. I think it’s about time we get a character creation, even if it’s bad the in tekken 7 at least they could improve it in tekken 8. Soul Calibur did a good job first time and second time it was better.
