  1. tekkenlover says:

pool L is the group of death, u got crow, filthie rich, insanelee and aris alltogether, all of these 4 are strong candidates to be at final

  2. Ever 4 Ever says:

man i cant wait for this tournament. even though i can’t freaking get there since i live all the way here in MA but hell yea. i will support the team of west coast and east coast.ill have some freaking food ready and a fucking vavazela to get them more annoyed but that will be funny if someone brought an actual vavazela in evo LOL.

    • Tekkenlover says:

Actually the vuvuzelas are banned from evo and if anyone brings it they will be kicked out , I read it on evo cite, with a horible and loud noise they make , it would be obvious that they interfer with the focus of players and their performance and evo made a right choice to ban it, this ain’t no world cup

  3. chemicalRed says:

Hopefully the games will be recorded.. and in decent quality.

  4. VenoM362 says:

Hopefully there will be some good battles. BTW is this the same Black Mamba that is good at DOA? Didn’t know he played Tekken.

  6. CeaserDeebo says:

so is insanelee the expected favorite?

  7. Schematic says:

lmao they put Gm in the same the category as ling massacre. These bastards planned their brackets well. And Chetty and Napps in the same pool. Napps rarely beats chetty in tourney and GM never beats Ling Masacre in tourney. This should be quite the challenge for them.

  8. AAK says:

Ummm… is it just me or are the Koreans missing from this list?

AndyTekken…. that sounds so familiar, I think I played this guy online once.

  9. vinsor says:

call me noob or anythin degrading, but i’m just curious why other pools have more players than most?

    • 725 says:

i was manually looking up players 1 by 1 based on their real name. also other posters post what pools they were in. so some players haven’t been identified yet to which pool they’ll be in, but i think most have been accounted for. i wish i were in pool P. =/

  10. 3-D God says:

japanese top player to watch for: tokido. this guy is a beast in tekken.

  11. yup yup says:

So much decent players. It will be a great event.

  12. vinsor says:

    don’t see Knee though

  13. clifford says:

to me holemon nin and tokido will fight for first place

  14. TCO-TheOne says:

Justin Wong entered the tournament should be something to watch.

  15. StraightJacket says:

So many guys ive not heard of, still this should be good, is there a tekken live stream?

  16. Tick says:

wow, so many commenters have no idea what they’re talking about, it’s hilarious

justin wong could probably do pretty well, he’s obviously smart enough not to suck but tekken’s a much different game than street fighter. he won’t beat any of the big dogs.

i see GM doing the best among the US players, he’s only been getting better and better. it’s just a matter of whether or not he can take out the koreans. i am psyched out of my mind to see a GM/NIN rematch after NIN threw his wallet at GM after the MLG tournament. get ready kids this will be SICK

  17. Tekkenlover says:

OK I HAVE ONE QUESTION? DOES ANY KNOW HOW IS DETERMINED WHO IS IN WHICH BRACKET, WAS IT ALL DETERMINED BY SIMPLE LUCK OF DRAW? HEY 725 U R PARTICIPATING, SO DO U KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?

  18. Nyce says:

Ever 4 Ever I went last year and I’m from MA. I’m trying to get back into my tekken & street fighter game, any1 from Boston area want to get some sessions in my psn tag is nyce-1

  19. AAK says:

Just one question… I’ve never been to evo, but how does one go about fighting in casual or money matches? Are there separate stations set up for people to indulge in those things? After looking at the Tekken and SF brackets, it’s overwhelming how many people there are going to be and I’m curious to know how the organizers are gonna supply all those consoles.

    • 725 says:

there may be separate stations at the “bring your own console” (BYOC) area.. you can challenge anyone there.. whether or not they accept is another thing.. so just try asking and looking for an open station..

  20. Renzo says:

    Japanese players still missing

  21. Renzo says:

    no Japanese players for Tekken?

  22. TL15 says:

anyone know if that mokujin player from nor cal is coming to evo? at ncr4 he was one round away from sending holeman to losers bracket. crazy match and one of the funniest and greatest matches i ever seen in tekken. the look on holeman face of confusion was hilarious

    • Mystic says:

Your probably talking bouts Killer Will. Dats da only playa i know that playz Mokujin at a high level. I doubt hed be at Evo since he rarely shows up to tournaments ne more. That fool is solid and haz good skills …. itd be great to see him show.
It probably wont happen (but not impossible) but if he did beat the koreans, theyd probably commit suicide since losing to a mokujin player would be brutal at the level the koreans are at. wait…..samurais commit suicide so it would suck for tokido if he lost. j/k
Newayz hope to seee more bay area players show to evo. too much trash talking from east coast fools lately and we need to rep!

  23. Tekkenlover says:

725 I seen couple if ur videos, you are prety good, good luck on evo

    • Mystic says:

725 is the Steve of America! He made it to Top 8 during the last Nor Cal Regional tournament and held his ground against the Koreans. Good shit

  24. Schematic says:

Fab steve better I think. He just doesn’t use him because of some of his inherent flaws. He likes characters with certain traits that steve doesn’t have. But 725 is pretty good. My prediction from every group is
    fab
    nin
    holeman
    crow
    fighting GM or Ling massacre
    kane
    Kor
    Henry Chen
