Tekken always gets good reviews mainly between 8-9.5 We all know why, cause Tekken is the SHIT!, always has been. It would be PERFECT if it had a tag mode, oh well maybe someday they’ll bring it back.

Hey markman, considering I’m still waiting on my review copy could you perhaps tell me if you can rank up playing VS mode? It always annoyed me that the tekken series since 5 hasn’t allowed this.
It’d be nice to see your rank against your friends at home. Especially if they all have their own profile on the same console, or they could bring a memory card.
Pretty sure you can’t, and the reason should be obvious enough. Some people (with 2 atleast gamepads) would abuse it, select P2 and just leave the controller, so no one will fight back and just beat it over and over again for easy rankups.
Considering it would be for offline only, I fail to see how that would effect anything. It’s not like ranking up offline would effect your online account.
Some of us would just like our offline wins, losses, and rank if we play a lot of offline tekken. I sure can’t stand having to play against the cpu for this stuff.
Thus why I ask markman if it’s possible or not.

Having read the article, the problem stems from the hardware itself and not really the games developer’s fault. A video game isn’t just about graphics, I won’t be playing T6 mainly for the graphics. I love T6 for its gameplay more than anything else, T6 having better graphics than DR is enough for me and I also believe it looks amazing having played in the arcade for over six months.

Ok I just read the review from the magazine, and it’s was pretty crap to be honest. I mean they admit that they havent had a chance to play it online yet. How can you write a review give it a 9+ and not take this into account. Sorry cant take that review seriously at all, as they didn’t review the entire game.
The online functionality of fighters is what will finally bring back the revival they need or cement their demise, and no one is taking this seriously enough. I seriously dont care about the graphics, but if the online mode is terrible like it is in DR then I will be pretty heartbroken….

Yeah man!!! and i just played street fighter 4 now on my pc and i whent into the hud possitioning option in options..and i could choose how high and low i wanted it!!! =D i loved it!! so i hope namco use the same as street fighter WHY NOT!?? ..and i noticed namco borrows the same ide as street fighter 4 on the main meny where you see rank and what you have done in your play ..you know what i mean..you know in main meny where it says on the right that EXAMPLE Lars ranked to 1st dan and so on..the same thing is on street fighter 4..so tekken 6 should use the same HUD option to..
