And when I though this year couldn’t be any better for fighting game fans…
I might actually pick up the SFIV stick, but they are nowhere to be found anyone know where i can land one ??
Sticks can’t be any better than they already are.
After Madcatz made SFIV TE stick everything is the same. You cannot improve something that is the best.
I mean when you have all SANWA parts -how can stick become any better? Every stick HORI and Capcom are making are the same now. All top quality!
– The joystick is SANWA
– The buttons are SANWA
– The layout is like Taito Viewlix
– All have build-in-compartments for storing the cable
– They have wings for easy pick up
– Easy to open and mod with tighter spring and bat-top handle or octogonal restrictor-gate
– Easy to disconnect buttons
– Easy to change the artwork
– Heavy sticks with great build-quality
These are the main criterias in a perfect stick and almost every new stick out there is following this.
Trust me, I can make the TE stick better.
Oh jeez, there goes more of my paycheck.
So you accept the challenge?
That’s great!
I have 4 sticks (SFIV TE, SFIV TE round 2, SSFIV and HRAP3 SA) which I have modded to my likings.
I would like a bit more difference in the sticks that are out there. My suggestions:
– sticks with rund restrictor gate
– sticks with octogonal restrictor gate
– sticks with bat-top handle
– sticks with shorter throw-distance on the handle.
– sticks with tighter spring on the handle
This made me curious, MarkMan! :O Please elaborate
bat top FTW!!
man i hope your right
Mark, what is the timeframe on these?
Dunno why bat tops aren’t used globally
Because more people prefer the standard of what’s in Japanese arcades.
Hopeful that Korean style sticks will be on the menu. Also wondering if we might expect FPS shooter sticks (mouse on a stick base with stick buttons, etc). Very curious how that could work because you know those Halo players at mlg want sticks.
i know this may be a lil off subject…but after seeing this vid right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ghgg_fukbvU …. i think its safe 2 say that im picking up Panda/Kuma…
