hi gipsy^^ are there any other characters that you use besides eddy?

  6. coilover2005 says:

Before BR came out you played Lei and Dragunov a lot. Correct me if I’m wrong, but have you stopped playing them competitively? If so, why?

  7. Xticle42 says:

I hear you are moving to Sydney soon, are there many Tekken players there? If so, how strong are they?

  8. Yakub says:

would you say tekken is the bestest technical fighting game in the world?

  9. silver_devil says:

    Hello Gipsy~

How do you feel about advancing to a high position for Tekken Crash S5, as well as entering SBO? Are you excited about facing Japanese players soon?

  10. k.d.e says:

what made you want to play with eddy?

  11. Tysan says:

There slight differences between Christie and Eddy, what do you think about her and how stacks against Eddy for completitive play?

  17. CityACE says:

when did you play Tekken at frist?;what each character do you select at then?

  18. Thaneth says:

I play eddy as my Main Charcter too.

Just want to know. If you can change some moves’ property to make eddy stronger, which move you want to change mostly and how.

  19. Anirban says:

This might be a bit personal so you may choose not to answer. How old are you? Do you do anything apart from Tekken, like study/job? How do you manage? Personally feel Tekken is very very distracting. Unless you think about it all the time, you can’t be a champion.

  20. Spitfire says:

How much does a 1 bedroom cost in South Korea? whats the average starting pay rate for a blue collar gig?

  21. Viq says:

Did you ever consider moving to Seoul because of Tekken? What made you stay in the Busan/Ulsan area?

PS-> Thanks for helping me find X-File and GHQ arcades in Ulsan. Due to school, I don’t have as much time to get out of 무거동 as I want (ㅠ_ㅠ). 드림 월드 아줌마은 왜 아직도 저을 빤히 쳐다봐요?

  22. Spitfire says:

well Viq maybe u can answer my question then….

    • Viq says:

Honestly, if you move here without it being for a teaching job or to go to school yourself you will likely have a very difficult timing getting set up here. The apartment rental system is very different what you may be used to. If you want to rent a place, the landlord will often require a huge lump sum ($5000+) up front. Then you’ll still have rent around maybe $300-400 per month for a small apartment. At the end of your lease term, you can get that lump sum back, but many places set their initial deposits very high.

If you are able to get a job as an English teacher, then part of your contract before you move to Korea will include the school setting up an apartment for you, and they will likely take care of the rent. As a student, I have to pay for my dorm each semester (about $1000 for room + 3 meals a day for 3 months). My school offers a program where I get to teach English while taking classes, and the $18.75/hr that I get from that more than covers my room&board payment.

As for blue collar construction or manufacturing jobs, my Korean roommate says that they make somewhere around $20,000-24,000 per year. If Gipsy reads all of this, then he may be able to give more accurate or detailed info. This information is all just my experiences so far combined with my roommate’s thoughts.

      • Spitfire says:

Appreciate that Viq….as I am looking 2 move that way within my field of major which Computer Programming and a Minors in Economics…I did apply with Andamiro(Pump It Up) for a customer service position and software coding position and i thought about the possibilty of relocation overseas so I was curious to know how the real estate market looked over there…but the deposit with first month’s rent is nothing new 2 me as the same shit applies when searching for a house or apt in the states..but goddamn u said atleast $5,000 down? thats a car payment and that better be going 2wards some equity shit to owning a house or condo…thats rediculous…but 18.75/hr is not bad at all especially if ur getting ya pay in US dollars…but thx 4 the info much appreciated none the less…hopefully by my daughter’s 4th-5th bday i could make that move over there after receiving my degrees and placing her in a really good private school over there….

  23. Super Joe says:

Are there any American Eddie players that you have heard or and/or look up to?

  24. CraveENT says:

Congrats on making it so far on the Crash!

Any message for us other Chreddy players? And tips to become stronger? LOL

  25. Zach Pinner (ZAP) says:

    MarkMan,

I’m trying to step by Tekken game up but in order to get better I need, want, and have to master Korean Backdashing / Wavedashing. Could you ask Gipsy what is Korean Backdashing and how can i perform it consistently?

I think this strat is very important for any player that wants to bring his game to the next level.

    Thanks again,

    ZAP

  26. Murakumo says:

How did you choose/get your name?

  27. Forest says:

What are your favourite moves to go into Negativa other than d+2,3?

  28. renikon says:

Do you pay attention to the USA Tekken scene? If so, have any players caught your eye that you would like to play?

  29. qwerty says:

who do you think are the top players in the tekken korean scene?
who player do you find most difficult to battle?

  30. eDDIEBOYMANG says:

    -why choose eddy?
    -what are eddys flaws?
    -what are eddys strengths?
    -who is eddys hardest matchup?

  31. k.d.e says:

Gipsy are you exited for TTT2????!!!! =)

How did you team up with Magnet and Seol Lei for Tekken Crash? Were you good friends to begin with?

  34. draelor says:

    jacob(gipsy)!!!!! sydney represent!!!

  35. readwatchread says:

Gipsy, you use a lot of characters, and you are great with all of them. Of all your characters, what made you use eddy for competitive play?
