Korean players have once again proven themselves to be beasts! Nin won 3:1 in the MLG Washington final against Knee and both of them, teaming up with Anakin from Atlanta, dominated the team tournament as well. Will the Dallas event become the Korean Tekken 6 invasion? We have to wait 3 more weeks to find out. Meanwhile, check out the full results down below.
1st – Nin [Korea]
2nd – Knee [Korea]
3rd – x6.JustFrameJames
4th – (NYC)Fab
5th – GM Fizzle
6th – Anakin
I couldn’t resist when I heard yesterday that Nin didn’t want to play in the team tournament and wasn’t happy when he had to… that’s why this picture is here ;)
the koreans are going around USA and just being beasts as always…
Why is Knee sucking so much in tournament???
He missed so many taunts moves and combos… was he tired or what?
maybe he wasnt trying? could be tired.. they are going to states around US… so maybe that could be the problem for KNEE…
fatigue, homesick but in terms of performance placing 2nd doesnt really suck as playing but in relation to Knee, yeah i guess it would be a not so stellar performance but that’s just me
ya, Knee posted on Tekken Central and he said that he got a minor cold and time difference thing. he said thats y he missed so many combos and punishment.
lol, i mean really??
You mean he sucked cause he missed 5 of 7 taunt jetto uppers? when he is the only bryan player that dares to do taunt jet uppers in tournament…
Tiredness, lcd responding different than arcade, not playing in cabinet… hmm, again, he still got 2nd, so what’s the big deal?
Ha ha.. remember that whole discussion about “the gap is closing in”…?
Heh.. I don’t think so.. Koreans are raping every tournament they enter with their uberhuman reflexes. Why can’t my brain work that fast??
So how about that Tekken Crash situation? We ever gonna see those videos again?
search youtube for a guy name garyoak99 he uploads tekken crash now.
gap is closing
Look at this clip
USA teaching Japan how to play SF.
yup yup your a dumbass LOL
KOREANS ARE TRYING TO PROVE THAT HAVE BEEN PLACES TO PLACES AND THEY COULD FIND NO ONE WHO COULD COMPETE WITH THEM.THE MATTER RELATED TO GAP IS CRAP,IF 10 OF THE TEKKEN CRASH PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED INCLUDING THE NSTAR SPECIALISTS IN THE AMERICAN TOUR OF KOREANS ,NONE OF THEM WOULD BE RANKED OUT OF 10.
SECONDLY JAPANESE PLAYERS ARE ALSO TOUGH AND AO PROVED THAT.
SO NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK THE GAP IS CLOSED ,THEY STILL ARE AS FAST AS THEY WERE BEFORE.You CAN SAY THAT PLAYERS AROUND THE WORLD HAVE IMPROVED A LOT BUT DIDNT IMPROVED ENOUGH TO CLOSE THE GAP.
Only Japan can stop Korea domination in US tournament.
btw AO is not even best from Japan
msryu 2nd gen FTW! the baddest kaz in the world in my opinion!
i think he’s still the best overall player in japan now (someone post a link to verify this or contradict this, too lazy to search)
yea,but he is inactive i think from past 1 year,i dont seem to see his videos on youtube anymore.
I can not wait to sit down with a big bag of cheesies and watch the whole stream. I think MLG is the best thing that ever happened to Tekken 6 in North America. Props to MLG.
i guess it has a lot to do with the competitive environment. in korea, you go out of the house everyday and run into players who are raijins and above. their competitive arcade scene just nurture those skills.
I heard JDCR might come to Dallas. Yep, its only a matter of time until more and more Koreans (maybe Japanese as well) will show up to MLG. Feel sorry for American players.
Every time I come on here its just nothing but hate and excuses for no reason. Why not just be like knee got out played? why does everything have to be an excuse so what if he was messing up its called being human and playing in tourney it happens. They didn’t steam roll us we gave them a good run its not easy they are the best of the best.
are you nyc fab?
you are my fav american player good game against anakin!
Yeah that’s me man lol. Thanks a lot man seriously. Anakin easily one of the top here nothing but respect to him.
Hey Fab who did you use in the tournament did’nt get a chance to watch the stream.
I used Bob this time around since hes been my main for so long, I wanted to play Miguel again but I had a bad feeling. Wish I used Miguel against Nin maybe could of helped out.
Yea your Miguel is nice man keep it up.
@fab. Glad to see you keep it real man. Way too many haters complaining about stupid BS. BTW Congrats on your Tourney results man!
So many great matches. I thought from watching it, that it was some of the best and tightest competition in and MLG event today.
Who’s GM Fizzle? fightingGM?
Its GRAND MASTER FIZZLE
You ain’t know?
Well….now you know and knowing is half the battle.
I’m just saying…
Steve pulling a yaranaika there. D;
congrats to all top 8, the quality of this mlg was even better than last mlg, there were so many close matches, honestly i think this mlg was even more exciting than evo dont get me wrong i freaking love evo but this mlg was even more exciting than evo, if only aris nap and AO were playing as well, this mlg would have been even greater.
Yeah nice to see you Fab its been a while since a saw you play but you still has it all
Nice to see you play
Best wishes in next tournament from sweden
