In late March… one of the greatest Tekken tournaments to hit European shores went down in history as an event of biblical proportions! Paris, France played host to an international gathering of Tekken’s greatest from all over! Starring dozens of great players from as far as Japan, Korea, and of course Europe’s finest! Site Update And More!
February 12, 2007Greetings San Diego! It has been awhile since the last post update, but we’re slowly trying to make our site the complete resource we envisioned it to be. Here are the latest updates that we’ve been working on:
- SDT – Player Profiles updated (Work in progress)
- T5DR – Ranking section opened
- T5DR – Character Frame Data section opened (Work in Progress)
- Tech Area – Section opened! (Work in Progress)
Special thanks to everyone who helped contribute to these sections so far! We will try our hardest to finish up the rest of the site in the coming weeks.
Since our last update a total of FOUR spots have been announced for the USA to represent at Tougeki 2007 ! Details are here:
- NORCAL Strong Style II – May 5 & 6 in Sunnyvale, CA (2 Team Spots)
- TGA East SBO Qualifiers – Date TBA in Winchendon, MA (1 Team Spot)
- Planet Zero South West SBO Qualifiers – April 27-29 in Houston, TX (1 Team Spot)

Tekken 5: DR For America This Month!

While many of us have already been enjoying the luxury of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on our PLAYSTATION 3 consoles since late December, there are a large number of people in the US that have been waiting patiently for the official US release for the PlayStation Online Network. Just announced today on Tekken Zaibatsu, Namco Bandai Games has confirmed that the US version is coming out this month! More information as soon as it comes in!

NORCAL Strong Style II And Tougeki 2007!

We are proud to announce that the upcoming NORCAL Strong Style series of tournaments is teaming up with Arcadia Magazine for an exciting tournament in early May!
NORCAL SS II will feature a singles tournament and a 3 man team tournament for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. The kicker is, Arcadia has allowed the team tournament to be an official qualifying tournament for a spot to represent the USA at Super Battle Opera/Tougeki 2007 later this year!

SD TEKKEN – Dark Resurrection Vol. 1 Revisited
January 27, 2007With Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection coming out on the PLAYSTATION 3 in North America soon… I thought I’d take it back just a little bit…
Way back in 2006,(Yes I know) a group of SDT members worked hard to bring out our T5DR combo video. We were lucky enough to have access to an arcade version of Tekken 5: DR and we created something that we are very proud of. =)
Again, special thanks to everyone in SDT that helped make this video possible!
