The rumors are true! Super Street Fighter IV is coming! GameSpot put up their sneak peak at the highly anticipated title and the fans are going wild! So far we have been treated to a very artsy hype trailer and the mention of at least 8 more playable characters (two revealed today: Juri and T. Hawk) in addition to IV’s 25. The game is slated to come out Spring 2010! Before you ask in the comments, “WTF, isn’t this a TEKKEN site?!” Just know that if it wasn’t for Capcom and Street Fighter the fighting game genre wouldn’t be what it is today! Food for thought! Very Very Interesting. Streetfighter was indeed the originator so in that respect I give SF props! Now, this new Super SFIV is coming out and from wut I read it is a disc based game and not DLC!? That does not make any sense to me @ all. They are going to re-sell SFIV with a few new mods and some new fighters for $60 now; then 9months later release Super Streefighter IV Alpha Turbo Remix A……with new characters and interface…for $60 >:(

I do love street fighter 4 but come on, the gameplay is kinda static including the animations. I really wish Capcom would give SF some new look, add tons of costumes, tons of new moves, supers. I mean come on, after 20+ years Ryu still has 3-4 special moves, what’s up with that.

tekken guys il probably get ssf4 but tekken 6 is gna b played for years for me till the next tekken installment cums out i bet u that this new sf is gna have the same lifespan its gna b all repetitive and it gets played out where as my tekken givs me everything i asked for in a fighting game its that complexed, deep and technical and where i live people know me for tekken ive bin playin tekken since 3 came out and my first tym playin the tekken 3 demo i was amazed as hell the i said 2 myself wow and thank you god for giving me the chance to play tekken till this day i stay devoted only for tekken and when i die il be buried with all the tekken series lying next to my grave.

I don’t know. I don’t really like SF4, I’m gonna be honest. It doesn’t have the feel of two, and three just looks and plays so much better.

WOW…. I seriously didn’t believe anything remotely good would be coming out after T6… This is fucking AWESOME news! Since they got Dee jay(FINALLY), T. cause i have the same kind of friends.
they work with me at my job and they throw these parties sometimes and we play a lot of fighters, but they will play 2d fighters but wont even touch tekken, and when we do try to play it we get hassled at the party by both of them, because according to them 3d fighters suck.
but thats just because i can hand them their ass at tekken.
they like fighters where the characters have like 4 to 5 moves per characters, but they cant handle deep fighters that contain 75+ moves per characters.

Hell yeah man. I try to xplain the magic of Tekken to ppl but they don’t seem to get it. All I hear is SFIV is the best fighting game out there. Not to mention They rave about how awesome Mortal Kombat/DOA are??? I don’t get it… O_o. 2d fighters are waaaay to limited to be enjoyable in my book. Im sorry but I like side-stepping, parries/reversals, and unlimted combo potential instead of jumping up or ducking to avoid moves and waiting to do “a special” that takes off half of a persons health >:( It’s not that I don’t like 2d fighters its that I don’t like 2d players talking shit about TEKKEN!!!

Yea you have to be hardcore to think of TEKKEN every second,minute of the hour. I seen a video of KNEE and NIN scouting fights and writing things down on what the player was doing they were studying that shit like a science. Anytime someone ask me what type of games i play i say fighters and tell them TEKKEN all day. Then i tell them to pick it up i represent for TEKKEN, TEKKEN 6…FTW.
Well….tekken is a bit easier than SF, the funny thing is that…Tekken players want to do the proper combos either console or arcade…in SF, either u do sick combos or ur stuck with the casual tactics like using the 6 moves only….the funny thing about tekken juggles is that its like MVC2,once the enemy is in the air, u have a custom combo that creates
big damage just like MVC2, while in Sf,doing a combo is hard already for the timing is strict,and some times juggles are unnecessary for juggles create the least damage but it incapacitates the enemy from attacking you, both are good systems, yet tekken 6 made everyone lighter while sf 4 made everything casual friendly, heck even marduk bounces like paper mache
