Those of you that have been keeping up with SD TEKKEN’s updates will notice that we’ve been on an endess quest to find a PS2 to PS3 USB converter that will solve all our Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection problems… well the wait is FINALLY over! Pelican just released their PS2 to PS3 Adapter and it works GREAT! Check out our review!

Don’t forget! The sixth installment in the long running ELECTRIC CANCEL series of tournaments is going down this coming Saturday May the 12th! If past EC tournaments are any indication of how great these tournaments are, then you’d be a fool to miss EC6!

We have a good amount of new Tekken 6 news thanks to Mukumuku! Katsuhiro Harada was interviewed in the latest Tougeki Damashi Vol. 5 and he revealed many interesting tidbits about the game’s development! Check the Tekken 6 News section for the full update!

Hori is releasing a new version of the popular Hori Real Arcade Pro line of arcade sticks for the PS3. The Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA (Sanwa) will be released in June and will be exclusive to Hori’s online store and made available only in Japan. The main change from the original HRAP3 is the inclusion of Sanwa buttons and a 6 button layout opposed to the traditional eight buttons on HRAP sticks.

With Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection confirmed for a Feb. 26th release date and Virtua Fighter 5 the week before… you can’t help but think, what arcade stick am I going to use for these games? The answer is simple. Hori of Japan has released two high quality arcade sticks that are great for these games! The Hori Fighting Stick 3 and the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 are available now in Japan and importers world wide.
While the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 has not been scheduled for a US release, you can find the Hori Fighting Stick 3 at your local EB Games and GameStop stores as of now! Fry’s Electronics stores also carry the arcade stick as well.

Greetings San Diego! It has been awhile since the last post update, but we’re slowly trying to make our site the complete resource we envisioned it to be. Here are the latest updates that we’ve been working on:

While many of us have already been enjoying the luxury of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on our PLAYSTATION 3 consoles since late December, there are a large number of people in the US that have been waiting patiently for the official US release for the PlayStation Online Network. Just announced today on Tekken Zaibatsu, Namco Bandai Games has confirmed that the US version is coming out this month! More information as soon as it comes in!

We are proud to announce that the upcoming NORCAL Strong Style series of tournaments is teaming up with Arcadia Magazine for an exciting tournament in early May!
NORCAL SS II will feature a singles tournament and a 3 man team tournament for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. The kicker is, Arcadia has allowed the team tournament to be an official qualifying tournament for a spot to represent the USA at Super Battle Opera/Tougeki 2007 later this year!
