  1. Does anyone know if it will work on an european console? I hope it will.

I have a Streetfighter IV TE which I have modded from parts from Lizardlick. I recommend everybody to do so!

I have put on an octogonal restricting gate. It makes it easier to do QCF, QCB and stuff. And I have put in a harder spring to make it give more tension. I have also put on an american style bat-top instead of the regular ball-top. Just makes it better to hold the stick.

But get me right, these modifications doesn’t make me a better Tekken-player. I still suck bigtime! You have to practice, practice, PRAC-FUCKIN-TICE!!!!

    1. U do know MarkMan copied the design from the Taito Viewlix? So if anything, his design is the clone!!!!

      1. If anyone, I was first to realize that STREET FIGHTER IV deserved an arcade accurate representation.

If you look at the US SFIV stick vs the JPN one, you’ll see the JPN one was using the typical HRAP3 Sega Astro City layout.

I was a bit disappointed and was glad that Mad Catz did it right with the authentic arcade look/feel.

Fast forward to a year later. Hori finally releases an officially licensed Taito Vewlix stick. This is more of a control panel in a box than a Vewlix stick, if you want a Vewlix style stick, obviously get a TE or one of the new V3 or VX SA sticks.

  2. As much as I love fighting games, I have a hard time convincing myself to spend $300+ on an arcade stick. I know you get quality, but that’s a lot of doubloons… or yen.

  3. There are rumors circulating that Namco will have something new to show at E3 (something Tekken related). Di or Markman, you think thats true?

    1. Namco and SDTekken playing Johnny Tight Lips right now. Is it real or is it fake?

No body knows…guess we’ll find out at E3.

      I’m just saying…

  4. It says for360 and PS3, but does the stick work with both systems? Or is it one system only. Just making sure :)

  5. Anyone knows if the PS3 version of the VLX stick will work with PSone/Playstation Network games? (not PS2) As long as it works with those (I need my Raystorm, G-Darius, Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders Infinity Gene, DonPachi, Namco Museum Essentials and Final Fight fixes), I’m fine.
