It’s been an exciting weekend! If you’ve been keeping up, you know that SD TEKKEN held an open gaming room at San Diego Comic-Con International and held our 6th annual Comic-Con TEKKEN tournament! In addition to Comic-Con festivities… EVO WEST also took place this weekend, in grand fashion! EVO WEST and San Diego Comic-Con International are happening this week! Make sure you support the fighting game scene and attend San Diego’s biggest tournament in years! SDT has compiled a small reference guide for those of you visiting our beautiful city, so check out our EVO/SDCC player’s guide! Electric Cancel 6.5 took place at the Brens Event Center at UC Irvine this past weekend on the lucky day of 7/7/7 (Also 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear!). Josh “Arario” Park took 1st in Singles Tourney while U.S. SBO representatives Team [MATE] took 1st in the Team Tourney! Click below for more details, results, and media from the tournament!

It will be taking place in our wonderful city of San Diego at the Omni Hotel which is conveniently right across the street from the San Diego Comic-Con International! In late March… one of the greatest Tekken tournaments to hit European shores went down in history as an event of biblical proportions! Paris, France played host to an international gathering of Tekken’s greatest from all over! Starring dozens of great players from as far as Japan, Korea, and of course Europe’s finest! We are proud to announce that the upcoming NORCAL Strong Style series of tournaments is teaming up with Arcadia Magazine for an exciting tournament in early May!
NORCAL SS II will feature a singles tournament and a 3 man team tournament for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. The kicker is, Arcadia has allowed the team tournament to be an official qualifying tournament for a spot to represent the USA at Super Battle Opera/Tougeki 2007 later this year!
