At the Street Fighter panel during Comic-Con International in San Diego Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Harada have announced a new title in development, titled: Street Fighter x TEKKEN! SDTEKKEN’s MarkMan is in attendance and will join Katsuhiro Harada in unveiling the new trailer for SF x TEKKEN at Comic-Con’s 9th annual TEKKEN tournament.

Happening July 22-25th, we will be located in Room 17AB on the Mezzanine Level of the San Diego Convention Center. GGL National Tournament Begins Monday!

The TEKKEN 6 GGL competition is soon under way with the Practice Ladder now live and the actual Tournament Ladder beginning Monday, Nov 2nd through Sunday, Nov. 29th, followed by a Playoff Bracket beginning Dec 2nd and a Live National Final on Dec 12th in San Francisco, CA! Despite Comic-Con 2009’s TEKKEN room being a male dominated event, there were quite a few ladies in attendance. Some were there to support their boyfriends, some came to watch the best of the best battle, and some even showed up to compete. Slowly but surely the number of girls interested in TEKKEN 6 is growing. What girl doesn’t love a good fight right? So watch out fellas, you might be at the receiving end of a rage wall combo finish at your next tournament, and it won’t be MarkMan or Ace R. next to you, it may be one of the lovely ladies below!

Namco Bandai & TapouT TEAM UP For TEKKEN 6!

Namco Bandai made an announcement during this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con that they will be collaborating with mixed martial arts apparel company TapouT to bring out special shirt designs for both in-game as customizations in TEKKEN 6 and purchasable items at retail for fans to wear in real life!
