Polish WCG Tournament Videos

The first round of Polish WCG preliminary tournament took place last weekend. The best players will fight for one slot in the World Finals in Busan (December) and Samsung Euro Championship, taking place right after the preliminaries. I will be running SEC myself so expect some exclusive SDTEKKEN content, incuding interviews.
The following players will play on 6th October in the Polish finals: Tenshimitsu (Yoshimitsu), Tokis (Zafina), Gajda (Lars), Nevan (Anna), Frizen (Steve, Lars), Rafimaru (Nina), GodHand (Steve, Paul) and Zajcew (Marduk). You can watch videos from last Saturday at youtube.com/backdashpl.

Sephiblack Joins WCG Finalists
August 21, 2011Sephiblack from Germany has just joined the World Cyber Games 2011 Tekken 6 finalists. He will be participating in Samsung Euro Championship (October, Poland) and WCG 2011 Grand Finals (December, South Korea). Killerdoll from Finland will be coming to both tournaments as well.

Devil Jin Coming To TTT2 Prologue

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Devil Jin. Along with Kazuya, Xiaoyu and Alisa he will be available in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue coming later this year. Mishimas vs. chicks – who will we? We have to wait until Tekken Hybrid’s premiere to find out. Meanwhile visit tekkenzone.net for DJ’s CG and an in-game screen.

GAMESCOM: TEKKEN 3D Prime Edition Details From Siliconera

Siliconera updated their site with a whole slew of info and screen shots from TEKKEN 3D Prime Edition! They mention that the title is said to feature over 40 characters and brand new stages made exclusively for the 3DS version of the game. Looking through the screens you may also notice some of the newer character models from TTT2 such as young Heihachi. Check out the link below for more details!

GAMESCOM: TEKKEN 3D Prime Edition For Nintendo 3DS
August 17, 2011The TEKKEN Project Team teased at a 3DS version of TEKKEN at E3 earlier this year… At GamesCom they released a new trailer for TEKKEN 3D Prime Edition for the 3DS which is said to include the full movie of TEKKEN Blood Vengeance 3D as well! More details as we get it!

Harada Talks Hadoken And Tekken Hybrid

The US PlayStation blog posted an interview with Katsuhiro Harada. The Tekken director was asked about the upcoming Namco Bandai titles, including Tekken X Street Fighter and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. When it comes to SF characters’ fireballs in the crossover, he said: “When we bring fireballs into Tekken X Street Fighter, there are two different ways we could go. It could be used as something similar to keep your opponent in the place you want, or it could be some kind of a special move or powered-up version of their techniques. We’ve not decided on what route we want to take with this yet”. Check the source for more details.
