It seems that DENGEKI PLAYSTATION magazine printed an error in their most recent issue. Out of all the errors, it had to be that the release date for TEKKEN 5: DARK RESURRECTION ONLINE was incorrect and should have been listed as TBA. This makes millions of Tekken fans around the world unhappy. :(
So now the question is… when will we see Tekken 5: DR ONLINE come out?

According to the latest issue of DENGEKI PLAYSTATION Magazine in Japan, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ONLINE will be released on June 30th! That’s a little more than a week away! Get ready for the next battle! But wait!? What about US, Europe, and other regions across the world? Who knows… We’ll be sure to update everyone as we get more information! The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has details on Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection with online versus play! With the cost of 2800 Yen(1000 Yen if you already downloaded the old version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection) you will be able to play FREE online versus matches with people all over the world! There will also be an online leaderboard that keeps track of player rankings! Also added will be practice and survival modes! There is no official release date for the upgraded version of T5DR, but be rest assured that SD TEKKEN will keep you posted! For more info and article pictures, click below!

Capcom’s Brian Dunn has just revealed new character images from their upcoming Super Street Fighter II TURBO HD game for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Slated to release later this year, the new ST HD will feature new character sprites redone in high definition by UDON artists(the same people who handle the Street Fighter comic books). Tekken’s fighting game cousin, Soul Calibur, has something new up it’s sleeve! Popular gaming publication, Electronic Gaming Monthly, revealed that the next Soul Calibur fighting game will be revealed in their upcoming issue!
