If you’ve been following the Street Fighter IV scene lately, you’ll know that the last chance to qualify for Super Battle Opera 7 (Tougeki 2009) took place yesterday at Denjin Arcade in Simi Valley, CA. 31 teams entered, and when all was said and done, the team of Alex “CaliPower” Valle and Peter “COMBOFIEND” Rosas came out on top and will move on to represent the United States at SBO7! GAMES ON played host for our Street Fighter IV Tournament this past weekend. We had 30 people show up for the event! In the end, it was Sanchez of Los Angeles who took an undefeated run through for 1st Place using M. Bison (Dictator) ! Follow below for full results.

GAMES ON played host to the Southern California Soulcalibur IV Regionals. In the end, it was Aris of SoCal who came back from losers and ultimately took 1st using Cassandra and Siegfried! GAMES ON played host to our SSFII Turbo HD Remix Tournament, and we had plenty of entertaining, down to the wire match ups as well as some play time with the SF IV Tournament Edition Arcade FightSticks! Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been out for about a month in Japan now… Just today two US arcades also received their Tekken 6 BR upgrades! Super Arcade in Walnut, California and Game Galaxy Arcade in Antioch, Tennessee both received their upgrades today! If you’re near one of these arcades be sure to check it out!
