Capcom has officially revealed that Street Fighter IV will be hitting North American shelves on February 17, 2009! The game will launch a few days later in Europe, on February 20! SFIV will be released on Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and the PC. Preorder the game today at your local game store or at Amazon!

Mad Catz, Inc. will be working with Capcom to bring out official Street Fighter IV themed controllers early next year! What kind of controllers will they be? A good guess would be a fighting game pad and an arcade stick. Luckily we know some information about the upcoming SFIV controllers and will back up Mad Catz and Capcom by noting that all Street Fighter fans and fighting game nuts should look forward to what is coming out early next year! In addition to last week’s news of more Tekken 6 arcade machine locations in the US, this week we found out that two more arcades have Tekken 6 available for play! One at the New York New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and the other at New Roc City Fun House in New Rochelle, New York! The only bad news is that both locations have Tekken 6 up and running for $3.00 USD per play… Here are the details for each location:

Just this past week two big name arcades, Sunnyvale Golf Land and Milpitas Golf Land, both received Tekken 6 arcade machines! Now there are three Tekken 6 machines in California and bumps up the total number of T6 machines in the US to SIX! Here is the information for the newest arcade locations:

Capcom recently announced that their upcoming Street Fighter IV will see a release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft and Windows based PCs. The granddaddy of the genre is finally back! The arcade release is still scheduled for July of this year with the console release date showing up on GameStop’s site as February 2009. Looks like we still have quite some time to wait! Thanks to the information provided on the Tekken Zaibatsu forums, word has it that a handful of TILT arcades have imported Tekken 6 from distributors in Asia! Houston, TX now has two Tekken 6 machines and Rhode Island gets one too! Here are the details for each machine:

Namco Bandai Games will be showing off their goods at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show early January… They have confirmed that Soul Calibur IV will be playable! This industry invite only event is part of a ‘special unveiling’ for Namco… There are hints that they will also reveal a new character for SC IV at the show! SDTEKKEN will be on hand at CES and hopefully Namco will have a Tekken 6 arcade machine playable for us as well… Right Namco? ;)

Tekken 6 is finally here! On November 26th Tekken 6 will launch in Japanese arcades and we can expect a US arcade release shortly after that! Tekken 6 will make it’s North American debut this week at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida. This is a private show that will be showcasing Tekken 6 to US vendors who are interested in purchasing the game for their consumer outlets. An SD TEKKEN representative will be live at the show to bring us updates from Namco. So hang in there as we will have more information on Tekken 6 at IAAPA later this week!
