Even more Tekken movie details are trickling in through the web! Popular movie news site IESB.net reports some of the audition sides for the upcoming Tekken movie project. It goes in detail on some of the story details as well as character backgrounds. Tekken-Official has updated their site with 17 new screens and new characters added to the roster! Asuka Kazama, Feng Wei, Lei Wulong, Christie Monteiro, Eddy Gordo, and Raven have been added under the character section of the site. Check out the latest screens and updates below!

COMINGSOON.NET just put up an article about a new teaser poster from Screen Gems’ film adaptation of our favorite game from Namco, Tekken! Charles Stone(Drumline, Mr. 3000) is set to direct an epic story revolving around two childhood friends who enter a worldwide martial arts tournament all the while uncovering a mysterious secret involving the Tekken Corporation. The movie poster has a few words and states, “After the Great Terror Wars, governments fell… Seven corporations rose from the ashes to rule all men… Together they were known as The Iron Fist… The mightiest of which was…. We’re back! It has been about a week since we last updated the site, but as you can see, we’re up and running again! Thanks everyone for the well wishes while San Diego was up in blazes. The fires are still present but thankfully they are more contained than before. Again our hearts and thoughts go out to those affected by this disaster. As far as the site goes, we’ve done a few updates over the last week. We have new forums, so sign up and check it out! Lastly, Namco Bandai Games Inc. announced that Tekken 6’s arcade release will be pushed back a few weeks to mid November. So expect new updates by then! Don’t forget to check out our new Tekken 6 feature right under this post too!

Early yesterday, Oct. 21st, fires started to spread throughout San Diego county and the situation has escalated to a state of emergency throughout Southern California. Over 300,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and many of the 7 + fires are still less than 5% contained. SD TEKKEN will be postponing updates indefinitely until the smoke clears. Unfortunately according to fire officials “It’s going to get worse.” Our prayers and wishes go out to all who are affected by this tragedy and we hope everyone is safe. Please, if you have to evacuate your home, go as soon as you can. Do not risk your life by staying behind. Everyone be safe and keep glued to the news, radio and television for the latest updates. The fires are spreading fast.

Earlier today at Capcom’s media event in London… STREET FIGHTER IV was announced for release in 2008! A short animated clip of Ken and Ryu fighting was shown to the gaming press, but no further details were given. This is huge news for fighting game fans everywhere! Hey everyone! MarkMan here again… We’ve been a bit lazy as of late in regards to site updates. I just wanted to let everyone know what we’re doing and what’s new! First off, thanks to our very own n8nmonster, we have all the T5DR Frame Data up on the site! Also we’re going to be updating the T5DR: ONLINE section of the site heavily this week, opening new site sections and hopefully get the online matchfinder up and running. Lasty check out the latest info on Tekken 6 in our TEKKEN 6 NEWS BLOG! Stay tuned for more T6 news mid-September!
