Electric Cancel 6.5 took place at the Brens Event Center at UC Irvine this past weekend on the lucky day of 7/7/7 (Also 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear!). Josh “Arario” Park took 1st in Singles Tourney while U.S. SBO representatives Team [MATE] took 1st in the Team Tourney! Click below for more details, results, and media from the tournament!

According to the latest issue of DENGEKI PLAYSTATION Magazine in Japan, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ONLINE will be released on June 30th! That’s a little more than a week away! Get ready for the next battle! But wait!? What about US, Europe, and other regions across the world? Who knows… We’ll be sure to update everyone as we get more information! The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has details on Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection with online versus play! With the cost of 2800 Yen(1000 Yen if you already downloaded the old version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection) you will be able to play FREE online versus matches with people all over the world! There will also be an online leaderboard that keeps track of player rankings! Also added will be practice and survival modes! There is no official release date for the upgraded version of T5DR, but be rest assured that SD TEKKEN will keep you posted! For more info and article pictures, click below!

In late March… one of the greatest Tekken tournaments to hit European shores went down in history as an event of biblical proportions! Paris, France played host to an international gathering of Tekken’s greatest from all over! Starring dozens of great players from as far as Japan, Korea, and of course Europe’s finest! Those of you that have been keeping up with SD TEKKEN’s updates will notice that we’ve been on an endess quest to find a PS2 to PS3 USB converter that will solve all our Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection problems… well the wait is FINALLY over! Don’t forget! The sixth installment in the long running ELECTRIC CANCEL series of tournaments is going down this coming Saturday May the 12th! If past EC tournaments are any indication of how great these tournaments are, then you’d be a fool to miss EC6!

With Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection confirmed for a Feb. 26th release date and Virtua Fighter 5 the week before… you can’t help but think, what arcade stick am I going to use for these games? The answer is simple. Hori of Japan has released two high quality arcade sticks that are great for these games! The Hori Fighting Stick 3 and the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 are available now in Japan and importers world wide.
While the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 has not been scheduled for a US release, you can find the Hori Fighting Stick 3 at your local EB Games and GameStop stores as of now! Fry’s Electronics stores also carry the arcade stick as well.

Greetings San Diego! It has been awhile since the last post update, but we’re slowly trying to make our site the complete resource we envisioned it to be. Here are the latest updates that we’ve been working on:
