SD TEKKEN was able to organize an interview session with some of Japan’s top Tekken players during Tougeki 2008, which took place earlier this year. In a GameSpot Interview from Tokyo Game Show, Katsuhiro Harada revealed Tekken 6 would not only be coming to PS3 but to the Xbox 360 as well! Game is expected to hit console Fall 2009. More news as we get it. Interview can be seen after clicking the link below.

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

Special thanks to the good members of Tekken Zaibatsu Forums, some NEW information on Tekken 6: Bloodilne Rebellion has surfaced! Two NEW characters! Alisa Boskonovich and Lars Alexanderson join the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 6! Expect more news later this week as Namco will be showing off T6: Bloodline Rebellion at the 46th annual AM Show in Tokyo, Japan! Check our TEKKEN 6 section for more news and info as it is released!

Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been announced! It will be officially shown at the upcoming Amusement Show from September 18 – 20 in Tokyo, Japan! It will be an upgraded version of the existing Tekken 6 game and is slated for an arcade release in December! Apparently, arcade operators in Japan have gotten the heads up about this new version of Tekken 6, so if you haven’t heard about it yet, you will soon! Thanks for the heads up Reno!

Tougeki 2008 the Super Battle Opera went down in Japan this past weekend and played center stage to the biggest Tekken 6 tournament to date! The best players from around the world joined in on a three man tournament of epic proportions. Tekken Zaibatsu has a report with the results and a bunch of other info about the players and events! In addition to last week’s news of more Tekken 6 arcade machine locations in the US, this week we found out that two more arcades have Tekken 6 available for play! One at the New York New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and the other at New Roc City Fun House in New Rochelle, New York! The only bad news is that both locations have Tekken 6 up and running for $3.00 USD per play… Here are the details for each location:

Just this past week two big name arcades, Sunnyvale Golf Land and Milpitas Golf Land, both received Tekken 6 arcade machines! Now there are three Tekken 6 machines in California and bumps up the total number of T6 machines in the US to SIX! Here is the information for the newest arcade locations:

The latest issue of Tougeki Damashi Vol. 9 has two character tier ranking lists, one from Japan and one from Korea. The Korean Tekken 6 ranking list was provided by Tougeki 2007 finalist HelpMe while the Japanese ranking list was compiled by long time Tekken player Kenbou aka Tarechichiganryu.
