If you’ve been following the Street Fighter IV scene lately, you’ll know that the last chance to qualify for Super Battle Opera 7 (Tougeki 2009) took place yesterday at Denjin Arcade in Simi Valley, CA. 31 teams entered, and when all was said and done, the team of Alex “CaliPower” Valle and Peter “COMBOFIEND” Rosas came out on top and will move on to represent the United States at SBO7! 360 Gamer reports that Tekken Team’s Katsuhiro Harada is still open to a possible Tekken VS Virtua Fighter game. You might remember an old newspaper advertisement back in 2001 pitting VF vs Tekken… Déjà vu? Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been out for about a month in Japan now… Just today two US arcades also received their Tekken 6 BR upgrades! Super Arcade in Walnut, California and Game Galaxy Arcade in Antioch, Tennessee both received their upgrades today! If you’re near one of these arcades be sure to check it out!
