NAMCO has told fellow video game news site CVG that they are “considering” console exclusive characters for Tekken 6, similar to the Star Wars set up seen in Soulcalibur IV!! Who knows who’ll be showing up?! Read more by following the link below.

Exar, the makers of the Wii Neo Geo arcade stick, have unveiled their new line of arcade sticks to coincide with the release of Tatsunoko vs Capcom on the Nintendo Wii. Impress Game Watch has unveiled the first batch of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion screen shots from the upcoming Fall 2009 console release for both the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

Two English version Arcana Heart 2 machines have appeared in San Diego at the Tilt in Mission Valley Mall. They’re set up on Sega Net City cabinets with full-on Sanwa sticks and buttons, and at a cost of 50 cents per play. Click below for some pics of the machines.

Mad Catz, Inc. will be working with Capcom to bring out official Street Fighter IV themed controllers early next year! What kind of controllers will they be? A good guess would be a fighting game pad and an arcade stick. Luckily we know some information about the upcoming SFIV controllers and will back up Mad Catz and Capcom by noting that all Street Fighter fans and fighting game nuts should look forward to what is coming out early next year! The biggest series of fighting game tournaments went down last weekend at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in scorching Las Vegas, Nevada! EVO2008 housed the best fighting game specialists in the WORLD and played host to an epic series of showdowns for 6 of the most popular fighting games today. EVOLUTION 2008 attendees were also treated to a sneak peak at the games of tomorrow as games such as Street Fighter IV, Blaz Blue, Super Street Fighter II TURBO HD Remix, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom were also available to play!
