Not only did it provide some wonderful insight on the console versions of TEKKEN 6, there was also high level play going on from our good friend QDogg and Renzo from NorCal! Our good friend Richard Li at 1UP will be hosting another Game Night! The game of choice for this episode is everyone’s favorite King of the Iron Fist Tournament… TEKKEN 6! NorCal tournament player Jeff “Renzo” Nguy will be on hand to go over the single player, multiplayer, and competitive aspect of the game! Tune in tomorrow Oct. 6, 2009 at 5PM Pacific standard time for the live stream goodness!
Not too long ago, the official TEKKEN Facebook Page sent out the call for ALL Tekken fans to compile their questions that they’d like to ask the TEKKEN 6 development team! They took your questions and the team has responded! They touched on everything from game controls, to display resolution (a touchy subject these days, lol), and even online netcode! Europe’s marketing is kicking into high gear with a series of awesome viral videos that are set to make the TEKKEN fanbase question themselves and the reasons why they fight! The rumors are true! Super Street Fighter IV is coming! GameSpot put up their sneak peak at the highly anticipated title and the fans are going wild! So far we have been treated to a very artsy hype trailer and the mention of at least 8 more playable characters (two revealed today: Juri and T. Hawk) in addition to IV’s 25. The game is slated to come out Spring 2010! Before you ask in the comments, “WTF, isn’t this a TEKKEN site?!” Just know that if it wasn’t for Capcom and Street Fighter the fighting game genre wouldn’t be what it is today! Food for thought!
