We had a great turnout over the weekend. There were plenty of upsets alongside plenty of amazing comebacks. In the end, it was Duragon of San Diego who took 1st Place using Siegfried, followed by MoTempest in 2nd using Taki, and KingSalmon in 3rd using Mitsurugi. Tougeki 2008 the Super Battle Opera went down in Japan this past weekend and played center stage to the biggest Tekken 6 tournament to date! EVOLUTION 2008 RESULTS!

The biggest series of fighting game tournaments went down last weekend at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in scorching Las Vegas, Nevada! EVO2008 housed the best fighting game specialists in the WORLD and played host to an epic series of showdowns for 6 of the most popular fighting games today. EVOLUTION 2008 attendees were also treated to a sneak peak at the games of tomorrow as games such as Street Fighter IV, Blaz Blue, Super Street Fighter II TURBO HD Remix, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom were also available to play! SD TEKKEN Wins The Gold!

Earlier this week, Hooters of Pacific Beach here in San Diego, held their regional trivia challenge just in time for the San Diego Comic-Con International. With over 25 teams at the event and a grueling round of trivia, SD TEKKEN came out on top and took home the top honors! The team consisted of fast_handsCODY, n8nmonster, and myself (MarkMan). We plan on defending our title next year! Thanks to all of our supporters that showed up.
