In a GameSpot Interview from Tokyo Game Show, Katsuhiro Harada revealed Tekken 6 would not only be coming to PS3 but to the Xbox 360 as well! Game is expected to hit console Fall 2009. More news as we get it. Interview can be seen after clicking the link below.

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

Special thanks to andriasang.com for covering the latest on Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion from the 46th Annual AM Show in Tokyo, Japan! A TON of new information has been unveiled! As previously revealed, Alisa Bosconovitch and Lars Alexandersson are two new characters in this arcade upgrade. Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been announced! It will be officially shown at the upcoming Amusement Show from September 18 – 20 in Tokyo, Japan! It will be an upgraded version of the existing Tekken 6 game and is slated for an arcade release in December! Apparently, arcade operators in Japan have gotten the heads up about this new version of Tekken 6, so if you haven’t heard about it yet, you will soon! Thanks for the heads up Reno!

Tougeki 2008 the Super Battle Opera went down in Japan this past weekend and played center stage to the biggest Tekken 6 tournament to date! The best players from around the world joined in on a three man tournament of epic proportions. Tekken Zaibatsu has a report with the results and a bunch of other info about the players and events! Hori sure has been busy as of late in their arcade stick department… They recently released the Hori Real Arcade PRO 2 SA and since then have announced the Amazon Editions of the Hori Real Arcade PRO and Hori Real Arcade PRO 3. The latest issue of Tougeki Damashi Vol. 9 has two character tier ranking lists, one from Japan and one from Korea. The Korean Tekken 6 ranking list was provided by Tougeki 2007 finalist HelpMe while the Japanese ranking list was compiled by long time Tekken player Kenbou aka Tarechichiganryu. On May 6th Gamer’s Vision amusement center held a special Tekken 6 event where the two highest ranked players in Japan battled it out to crown the first “Tekken Lord” rank in Japan. Takeyama (Bob) from Tokyo battled fiercely vs Osaka’s Second Generation Mainstreet Ryu (Kazuya) in a series of high level matches until one would be promoted as Japan’s first Tekken Lord! The Japanese version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ONLINE will be getting a nice free update on March 18th! Included in this update is vibration support for Dual Shock 3 controllers and some new options to help streamline the online experience! You can now play a quick 1 on 1 battle through the ‘PICKUP MATCH’ option… Battle lobbies will now show room names instead of player host names as well. Also, if you don’t have a Dual Shock 3 yet… They will be released in North America on April 15th for an MSRP of $54.99. Famitsu has unveiled the latest major revision to the Virtua Fighter franchise… Virtua Fighter 5 R! Much like how Tekken 5 had it’s “Dark Resurrection,” VF5 has it’s “R.” This latest announcement took place at AOU2008 in Japan. Aside from a tweaked game play system, VF5R also features at least one new character and the return of a sumo wrestling fighter! Could it be, Taka Arashi?!
