Hori had their brand spanking new Street Fighter IV arcade sticks on display recently during Tokyo Game Show! The sticks should be familiar to most as they are pretty much the same good old Hori sticks we have come to know and love, with an artistic SFIV flair. The PS3 arcade stick is essentially a Hori Real Arcade PRO 3 and the Xbox 360 arcade stick is a Fighting Stick EX2. Check our Arcade Stick section for more information on the new goods!

Impress Game Watch has unveiled the first batch of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion screen shots from the upcoming Fall 2009 console release for both the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. In a GameSpot Interview from Tokyo Game Show, Katsuhiro Harada revealed Tekken 6 would not only be coming to PS3 but to the Xbox 360 as well! Game is expected to hit console Fall 2009. More news as we get it. Interview can be seen after clicking the link below.

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

Capcom-Unity has revealed the boxart for Street Fighter IV for both the US and UK versions. The US version features Chun-Li on the front while the UK version features Ryu. Check the jump for an image of each. The game will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles early next year.

The balance patch, Version 1.03, is now live for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Soul Calibur IV. The patch includes various character changes such as the removal of Ivy’s WS B infinite and Yoshimitsu’s aB+K(CH) to 3AB no longer able to connect.

Fans of Hori’s smaller arcade sticks for the will be pleased to know that both the PS3’s Fighting Stick 3 and the Xbox 360’s Fighting Stick EX2 are being repackaged for Soul Calibur IV’s late July release. The SCIV themed sticks are identical to their previous incarnations and feature Soul Calibur IV themed artwork. They will be available in stores by the end of this month. Hori sure has been busy as of late in their arcade stick department… They recently released the Hori Real Arcade PRO 2 SA and since then have announced the Amazon Editions of the Hori Real Arcade PRO and Hori Real Arcade PRO 3. Capcom recently announced that their upcoming Street Fighter IV will see a release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft and Windows based PCs. The granddaddy of the genre is finally back! The arcade release is still scheduled for July of this year with the console release date showing up on GameStop’s site as February 2009. Looks like we still have quite some time to wait! The Ant Commandos just dropped off their latest product to us, a PS2 to PS3 converter! While mainly marketed for use with guitar controllers and use with Rock Band & Guitar Hero III, we couldn’t help to test it out with Tekken and our weapons of choice… You know how much we love our arcade sticks, so we were itchin’ to test this new converter out with all of our games and arcade sticks! The T5DR ONLINE Update is now live for the American version of the game. To download, simply enter the game and a window will pop up asking if you’d like to update. Among the new features are a new “Pickup Match” option, room naming, “Next Turn” alerts, and more.

The Japanese version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ONLINE will be getting a nice free update on March 18th! Included in this update is vibration support for Dual Shock 3 controllers and some new options to help streamline the online experience! You can now play a quick 1 on 1 battle through the ‘PICKUP MATCH’ option… Battle lobbies will now show room names instead of player host names as well. Also, if you don’t have a Dual Shock 3 yet… They will be released in North America on April 15th for an MSRP of $54.99.
